Jaden lost his battle to leukemia on January 29, 2007.

It was due to his death that Preserve Our Legacy was formed. Jaden endured months of battle to win his battle with leukemia. He need a bone marrow transplant to survive. Unfortunately, his parents, his brother nor any of his relatives were a match for him. Due to the lack of donors within the bone marrow donor pool, Jaden died.

Jaden's Law's goal is to educate the minority community about treatment options with bone marrow donation.
